Switching Over

To make the switch from messy traditional cabling to PedalSnake, follow these 5 simple steps:

Say Goodbye  Take one last look at your cable mess ... you may never see it again (thankfully).  PedalSnake users never go back to traditional cabling.

Remove the Bad... remove all the long cables between pedals and amp, including that awful 120VAC power extension cord. and the AC power strip. Move the power supplies for  your pedals (wall warts) to the backline and plug them into the same power strip as your amp. This creates a quiet star ground. Move AC Stuff to the Backline 400
.
Configure Your Lines Your PedalSnake BaseSnake will now go between your amp and pedals.  Use BaseSnake channels with Plug'n'Play Pigtails to make 1/4" G-Lines and P-Lines.  The P-Lines will now deliver low-voltage power (like 9VDC) to your pedals from your power supplies (now at the backline).

Insert the Good Connect G-Lines for "guitar cords", or any other 1/4" line you need. Connect P-Lines between pedals at the Pedal End, and power supplies at the Amp End (also see footswitch lines and MIDI lines).

NOTE:  All Pigtails are 15" long.  So if you have trouble getting your GLine Pigtail to "climb a stack", or stretch between amps and racks, you can order custom 1/4" extension cables here.

Make it Clean with Pedaltrain The best pedalboard for use with PedalSnake. All PedalSnake fanouts and pigtails tie off underneath for the UltraCool Look.  Coil PedalSnake up in the Pedaltrain case when the gig is over.
