Make Amp Footswitch Lines in PedalSnake

.
.
.
Most amp footswitches (over 90%) have either 1/4" connectors (mono or stereo), or a 5pin DIN plug.

In PedalSnake, those with 1/4" connectors are made by plugging G-Line
TM (GuitarLine) Pigtails into a Base
Snake channel. All G-Line Pigtail KIts come in 2-Packs, one Pigtail for each end of the channel.

.
See 1/4" Amp Footswitches below.
.
. .
. .
BaseSnake channels terminate in 5pin DIN connectors. So footswitches having 5pin DIN connectors can simply use bare channels.

See 5pin DIN Amp Footswitches below.

5pin DIN Amp Footswitches

..

If your footswitch has:

5pin DIN MIDI cable with 3 wires (rare)

Use any BaseSnake channel

5pin DIN MIDI cable with 5 wires

Use a white 5wire channel.
.

.
NOTE 1

White channels in PedalSnake are identical to standard 5wire MIDI cables. But some amps with 5pin DIN footswitch connectors do not use MIDI cables. They have 5pin DIN plugs, but the cables are not made to MIDI specs.

The Mesa Express series of amps has been known to have non-MIDI cables like this, and those footswitches do not work well with PedalSnake's 5wire channels.
.
NOTE2

7pin DIN cables are needed for some amps, and they are available in Custom PedalSnakes only.
